Yes, but we are very mindful that as our use of the building increases – through our mission outreach – so our energy usage will increase dramatically. We have plans for refurbishment and for the addition of a Kitchenette and Toilet. We will be monitoring the increases closely.

Never use disposables. We have changed our way of doing things and – despite having limited washing-up facilities – we catered the whole of the flower festival weekend with no disposables as part of our Eco Church commitment.

Yes. With our refurbishment coming up we have looked into this and spoken to our very competent and careful contractors who are aware of our commitment to recycle and reuse as much as possible. It does seem, however, like a scheme that may be designed for bigger projects than ours!

Yes … We do have a roof that would work well for solar panels and we are all aware of the possibility, but at the present time there is no finance available for this.
