There are lots of images and debates around at the moment about trees. They remind us that we need to plant trees and that trees are truly precious.
Aren’t these lovely, young and fresh and beginning their long lives…..
There are national campaigns and ideas but in the end we just need to get on with it. So….. we will be talking to our schools to see if they would like to be part of a long term project by which children, as they enter primary school, collect and plant trees seeds in their first term. We will the grow them on and when they leave the school, as part of their leaving rituals, we will help them plant them out into wooded areas that we will create around the land that we have access to.
