All Souls: the day of the dead
This sermon was influenced by our Book Group book Unapologetic by Francis Spufford which we are enjoying very much (more about that later!) .
I was struck during the services, more than ever, with a deep gratitude that our parish churches exist, that they remain places were the dead are remembered, the grieving held, and those who mourn are heard for as long as they need.
That they are a place for the great human dramas of our lives, where there is a time for everything . . . .
